About Us

The Annie Oakley Shooters of Northern Illinois (The “Annies”) was established by a handful of women who had a vision to elevate the entire clay target shooting experience for women in our region. We are the first and only 501c3 non-profit specifically dedicated to advancing education and opportunities for women clay target shooters.

S.H.O.T.S Sporting clays clinics

The Annies host monthly clay target shooting clinics that are a women- only, relaxed forum to sharpen shooting skills, socialize, get quality instruction and have an insanely fun time.

All experience levels are welcome; groups will be divided by experience level. Beginners are welcome and encouraged to break their first sporting clay with us. Clinics are non-competitive; only keep score if you want (most don’t).

Clinic fee is $55 for Non-Instruction, $65 for Instruction and $40 for juniors, (a $190 value) and includes gun rental, shells, targets, instruction, golf carts (when available), eye and ear protection and post-shoot refreshments. Please register online 72 hours in advance and sign a liability waiver.
